01 · Common Problems
Heating problems we solve
Not heating or cooling
A heat pump that won't switch modes often has a reversing valve or thermostat problem. We diagnose and repair it.
Ice buildup
Light frost is normal; heavy ice is not. We check the defrost cycle, airflow, and refrigerant to protect your system.
High energy bills
A heat pump running on backup heat instead of the compressor drives bills up fast. We find and fix the cause.
Short cycling
Frequent starts and stops waste energy and wear out parts. We trace the thermostat, airflow, or sizing issue.
02 · How We Work
How we handle your heat pump repair & installation
Heat pump diagnosis
We check refrigerant charge, reversing valve, defrost cycle, electrical, and airflow to pinpoint the problem.
Repair or replacement plan
We explain whether a repair will hold or a replacement makes more sense, with clear pricing up front.
Seasonal tune-up
We recommend spring and fall maintenance so your heat pump handles both cooling and heating efficiently.
